The taper version has been redesigned to be the best riding tallest steel fork we could come up with. It gives up just over 100g to the stright steerer but it a bit burlier to handle all La Roca related activities. Both La roca forks are very happy playing with 120-150mm suspesion hardtails…this means it’ll fit your surly, no worries.
